Weekly Update - April 12
UNDER 6 – UNDER 10 - Training resumes on the JD pitch at Abbey Park on Sunday 15 April. The outdoor Sunday morning sessions will start at 10.30 am and finish at 11.45 am. Looking forwarding to seeing you all after the Easter break! New boys and girls are welcome.
UNDER 12 - Training continues every Wednesday on the JD pitch at 7.00 pm.
UNDER 14 BOYS – Training continues at midda...y on Sunday on the JD pitch. Matches for the incoming season have now been fixed. Management will advise of arrangements.
UNDER 16 BOYS – Juvenile training continues on the JD pitch on Thursdays and Sundays. Matches for the incoming season have now been fixed. Management will advise of arrangements.
MINORS – Training under Dominic Clarke’s tutelage continues. Matches for the incoming season have now been fixed. Management will advise of arrangements.
SENIORS - The Seniors recorded a good win over Granemore on Wednesday night.The next match is this Sunday, 15 April in Abbey Park when we host Culloville. The match has a 2.00pm throw in. Please come along and support the lads.
UNDER 14 GIRLS – Training on Tuesdays on the JD pitch from 6.00 - 7.00 pm. All new players welcome.
UNDER 16 GIRLS – Training on Wednesdays on the JD pitch from 6.30 - 7.30 pm. All new players welcome.
MINOR AND SENIOR LADIES - Training continues on Monday nights at 6.30 pm on the JD pitch.
GAELIC FOR MOTHERS - This continues each Monday night on the JD pitch at 7.30 pm. All mothers are welcome to come along for these very popular, fun sessions.
YOUTH REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP – Membership costs £10 and with matches beginning to be played it is vital that players are registered and insured. Contact John Rath or any youth mentor.
CLUB REGISTRATION – Membership fees for the year have been set at £25 Full/Football, Social £15, (Over 18) Student £15 and Youth £10. Senior (over 65) is free. Please support your Club by paying your membership. Membership can be paid to any Committee Member.
CAIRDE NA CLAIRSIGH – New “Cairde” members are always welcome. Be part of a unique group and wear the special “Cairde” jackets. Direct debits can be set up from as little as £10 per month.
SOCIAL CLUB AVAILABLE FOR PARTIES – The club is now available for private parties and functions. A new, modern, contemporary kitchen has been installed and is suitable for catering for large gatherings. Contact bar manager Sean Powell at 028 37 523281 to arrange a visit or a booking.
BINGO - Continues every Monday in the Social Club at 8.30 pm.
ABBEY LOTTO – There was no winner of the lotto on Easter Sunday. Four matched three numbers and shared £60. Be in with a chance to win by buying a Lotto ticket each week. Next week’s jackpot is £3,050.
